WOOD and EPOXY

The wood arrive last week from England. After opening the big parcel we finally could start putting the first frame together. But first we had to cut loose all the parts from the Plywwod panels. We used a big beltsander a Jigsaw to cut and clean each part so they could be directly used to build the frames. Still waiting for the epoxy to arrive, hopefully still this week.

We are still waiting for the Epoxy. Actually we receive the résine but not the hardener. So we passing the time doing other stuff very useful for the boat. Like for example transforming this massive Swiss OAK board into the DFrame and keel support at Serge wood work shop. Luckily my little sister carpenter pass by and give us a big hand.

Winter is coming!Actually it’s feel as is would already be here. 6-8 degres in Zurich the last few days. The hardener for the epoxy finally arrived but it is too cold like that to glue any frames. So we had to build a tent in a tent. And we installed a big Heather in the room
